Meru County first LadyMeru’s First Lady Priscilla Murungi has launched a nutrition programme dubbed Generation Plus to tackle malnutrition challenges in the County.
Speaking during the launch in Kangeta, Igembe Central, the First Lady said micronutrient deficiencies can affect anyone but young children and women of reproductive age tend to be at the greatest risk.
Mrs Murungi said the programme is aimed at resolving nutrition needs in the society.
She was accompanied by the Health Services executive Mrs Eunice Kobia and Kangeta MCA Romano Mwito.
